Easy Bliss Balls Recipe

As a busy Mum of two it can be quite difficult to find the time to bake so often I tend to favour quick and easy recipes, whether that be for my smoothies, our lunches or a quick snack. As a Mum who is breastfeeding it’s essential for me to keep my energy levels up and my blood sugar balanced throughout the day. When it comes to snacks I look for something portable for the day’s adventures. Even better when that snack is on the healthy side. Bliss balls are super easy to make, and there are many delicious recipes out there. For these yummy Tumeric Bliss Balls, combine in a blender 2 tablespoons Golden Grind turmeric hot chocolate blend, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons maple or agave syrup, 1 cup raw almonds, 8 roughly chopped pitted dates (roughly chopping the dates first makes them easier to blend). Mix ingredients in your blender until combined well and smooth.

Sprinkle dessicated coconut onto a chopping board and roll mixture into ‘ball’ shapes, covering them with the coconut in the process. Refrigerate for at least half an hour before consuming. Enjoy!
